Safety at Complete Heavy Diesel

At Complete Heavy Diesel, safety isn’t just a priority – it’s our foundation. We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members, clients and the environment in every project we undertake. Operating in remote and demanding environments, we take every measure to uphold the highest safety standards, providing a secure, reliable service our clients can trust.

Our Commitment to Zero Harm

Our zero-harm policy means that we work diligently to prevent accidents, protect our people and maintain a safe environment for everyone involved in our operations. From the workshop to the field, every action we take is guided by comprehensive safety protocols and industry best practices.

Safety Training and Preparedness

All Complete Heavy Diesel employees undergo rigorous and ongoing training in critical safety areas, including:

  • Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
  • Take 5 safety checks to assess and mitigate on-site risks
  • Heat stress awareness to ensure team members are protected in harsh conditions
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance for every job site

Additionally, we ensure that each of our team members is well-prepared for the unique safety challenges posed by remote and high-risk locations. Site-specific training, including Life Saver training, is provided before commencing any project, guaranteeing that our team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work safely.

Safety-Ready Vehicles and Equipment

Our fleet of mine-spec field service vehicles is outfitted with top-tier safety features to support safe, reliable operations. Each vehicle includes:

  • Pre-start checks for mechanical integrity and reliability
  • GPS/IVMS trackers to monitor vehicle location and ensure communication in remote areas
  • Safety monitoring tools to oversee real-time vehicle and equipment status

These measures allow us to maintain continuous communication and safety oversight, ensuring that our team has the support needed while working in remote or challenging environments.

Environmentally Responsible Operations

Protecting the environment is integral to our approach. We implement eco-friendly practices and continually assess our impact to reduce emissions, conserve resources, and minimise any potential environmental footprint caused by our operations.

Creating a Safer Future

At Complete Heavy Diesel, we believe that safety is an ongoing commitment. We regularly review and update our safety protocols to adapt to new industry standards, client requirements, and environmental considerations. Our dedication to safety is part of our promise to deliver reliable, responsible services that prioritise the well-being of our team, our clients, and the world around us.
